Within the hire fleet, Flowhire have a range of technologies suitable for air measurement including: Thermal mass, Coriolis, and Vortex flow meters, the most suitable flowmeter would depend on your application. For instance, Vortex flowmeters are ideal for high velocities, however, being a volumetric device additional instrumentation such as pressure and temperature transmitters and flow computer are required for mass or corrected volume flow. Flowhire can supply pre-configured systems to include this instrumentation to ensure accurate measurement and simple installation. Similarly, For low flow rates in applications such as leak detection thermal mass flowmeters may be better suited due to their ability to measure very low velocities and minimal pressure drop. For more specialist flow measurement applications including high pressure air or gas flows where the installation may be in an ATEX classified hazardous area or where the ultimate accuracy is required then a Coriolis mass flow meter may be the ideal solution. Flowhire have the latest generation high pressure Promass O flowmeters from Endress and Hauser, the our Promass O is suitable for air or compressed gas measurement at pressures up to 258 bar and being ATEX certified they are ideal for use in zone 1 or zone 2 hazardous areas.
