Blake and Boughton the Norfolk-based weighing company who supply calibration services to companies such as Linda McCartney Foods and Autoglym Ltd have recently started using Flowhire’s Promass 83 Flow meter for accurately calibrating their customer’s process vessels.
The simple to use flowmeter can be attached to the customer’s mains water supply to test how accurate the vessels are and then can be calibrated using the Endress + Hauser Promass 83.
The Promass 83 provides the ideal measurement solution where accuracy is paramount.
Blake and Boughton’s Service Director Stuart Kemp said “Calibration of the vessels is crucial to our customers production as the batches of product are formulated and controlled using these systems so accuracy has to be maintained at all times. The Promass 83 is so easy to use and portable. On request Flowhire fixed a simple ‘zero’ button to the outer casing at no extra cost and they also made the conversion from litres to kilograms to suit our application”
He continued “The service we have received from Flowhire has been second to none, even arranging a same-day delivery for the meter which was done for us a very good cost. “
