Established in 2000, Flowhire has grown from humble beginnings, with just a few primitive ultrasonic flow meters in the hire fleet to now boasting the largest range of flow meters and metering systems for hire in the UK.
Flowhire was started as an offshoot of sister company Flowquip, created to fulfil the increasing need for temporary installations for flow meters in the UK. Flowhire soon became the UK's first specialist flow meter hire company providing a varied range of metering solutions to industry for short and long term rental.
Our customers include some of the biggest names within the oil and gas industries at every stage of production, offshore, refinery and distribution; power generation including renewable energy, as well as food and beverage and water industries. We serve industries in virtually all sectors, such as pharmaceutical, chemical manufacture, process industries, automotive and the public sector. To ensure we can offer our customers on-site support, often in offshore or hazardous areas, our technical engineers have all the latest health and safety certification.
Our products and services include Electromagnetic 'Mag' flow meters, Vortex flow meters, Turbine flow meters, Coriolis Mass flow meters, Ultrasonic flow meters (both 'time of flight' and Doppler); sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure and DP, flow computers, data acquisition and logging, flow meter and transmitter calibration.
Common applications include calibration of load cells, tanks and vessels; flow metering for testing, commissioning; pilot plants; distribution of services such as steam, condensate, compressed air and water; energy management and conservation, quality assurance testing, pipeline cleaning and de-watering.
All instrumentation is pre-configured to suit the application before despatch, with many items available on a next day delivery from stock.
