Flow Meter Calibration :
The new ‘Flowsure’ calibration rig uses stainless steel pipework and a stainless steel tank. A separate water filtration system has been included to make sure that the water remains clean and free of contaminants.
Its 4000 litre/min pump is controlled by a PLC via a variable speed drive allowing fine control of flow rates.
The rig employs not just one, but four primary meters. Each has been calibrated to national standards to give both accuracy and traceability. Whats more, each primary meter can be cross-checked against the others to ensure the highest possible accuracy is maintained at all times.
